I little bird emailed me to ask if anyone has heard or knows of the
condition of Neil Lincoln's health (within the past week).

The status of this query so far is that I got a report that Neil passed
away within the last week to another person who thought it was a year ago.
I can try sending him email on the address I have (and I know Neil's
family has read the ETA Wikipedia entry), but I am being sucked into the
Jim Gray search (seriously).

After tracking down my address book and sending email,

Neil passed away Friday, Jan 26, surrounded by family and a few close
friends. Xxxx Xxxxx was there and reported that he passed on peacefully.

Neil was quite a character.
